📢 Important Update - Prescription Requests 💊

Please be advised that from 01/06/2026 we will no longer accept prescription requests via telephone. Patients are asked to submit requests using NHS App or practice website (preferred), email repeats.stmarys@nhs.net, or in person at reception. If you will struggle to order prescriptions and have no support, please contact the practice as soon as possible; our pharmacist can assist.

📢 IMPORTANT NOTICE: MISSED APPOINTMENTS

We are currently experiencing a high number of missed appointments (Did Not Attend – DNAs).

When an appointment is missed without prior notice, it means another patient may lose the opportunity to receive care at that time. This can also make it more difficult for us to provide appointments promptly to those who need them.

We understand that sometimes there are genuine reasons why an appointment cannot be attended. However, we would like to remind all patients that:

📅 If you cannot attend your appointment, please let us know at least an hour before your appointment.
📞 Contact the practice to cancel or rearrange your appointment so that we can offer the slot to another patient.

⚠️ Repeated missed appointments without prior notice may result in the practice contacting you to discuss your attendance. Persistent DNAs may lead to removal from the practice patient list, in accordance with NHS and practice procedures.

Even if you are unable to attend at short notice, please contact us rather than simply not attending. Every cancelled appointment gives us an opportunity to offer care to another patient.

📞The Automated Check & Cancel Option is now live! You can do this by clicking option 1.

When you call us from a registered number, our system will identify you by your date of birth and give you the option to:
🔹 Check your upcoming appointments
🔹 Cancel appointments you no longer need
