Children's appointments

We will see all children aged 5 years and under on the same day where clinically necessary. If your child is unwell and you feel they need to be seen urgently we encourage you to ring our reception team for an appointment, you may be asked questions regarding the problem so that a doctor can determine whether the medical issue is urgent or can be dealt with routinely.

We may also offer you an appointment for your child at the Paediatric Service which is based at the Integrated Care Centre.

About Pharmacists

  • Coughs
  • Colds
  • Sore throats

They can also advise on medicine that you can buy without a prescription.

Many pharmacies are open until late and at weekends. You do not need an appointment but may need a referral.

Most pharmacies have a private consultation room. This allows you to discuss issues without being overheard.

You may only request a home visit if you are housebound or are too ill to visit the practice.
