Our reception team will guide you to the most appropriate type of appointment. Here is some information about the services we offer.

First contact Physio

Musculoskeletal First Contact Practitioners are now working within your GP practice. They are clinicians whose expertise is in dealing with bone, joint or muscle pains.

  • You can book an appointment with them directly through your GP reception staff without needing to see your GP first.
  • They have the knowledge and ability to assess you and diagnose what’s happening.
  • They can advise on how to best manage your condition and refer you onto specialist services if necessary.

Our First contact Physio is here on Thursday each week.

Focused Care Worker

You may be offered an appointment with our Focused Care Practitioner. Our practitioner can help with a wide range of concerns and challenges that a GP or nurse is not trained in. They can also connect you to the help you may need from other services in the area.

Focused Care is offered in GP practices across Greater Manchester.

For more information please contact the surgery.
